Microsoft “Film@edu Contest”
Official Rules – No purchase necessary

Eligibility: The Microsoft “Film@edu Contest” (“Contest”) is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are age 18 years or older and registered students in a degree granting educational institution in the 50 United States (includes District of Columbia) at the time of entry. Employees and members of their immediate families and households of Microsoft Corporation (“Sponsor”), its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, electronic media firm, Mr. Youth, LLC, Sweepstakes Consulting, LLC, and anyone involved in the production, development or handling of this Contest are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

How to Enter: Contest begins at 12:01 am (all times are Eastern Time) on 01/25/08 and ends at 11:59 pm on 3/31/08 (“Contest period”). To enter, visit FilmAtEDU.com to find the online entry form. Complete the requested information and follow the instructions to create and upload a short video up to two minutes in length expressing one of the following six theme options:

Concept 1: Viral Road Trip
Make a B movie that features the following 4 things: spring break, a virus, a road trip, and the Live@edu services. Fill in the plot as you like, but the whole thing has to take place over a 24 hour period.

Concept 2: I Want My Live@edu Film
Students will be given free reign in creating a music video which includes the Live@edu services of their choice. All lyrics and music for this video must be original.

Concept 3: Food for Thought
Play with your food for a chance to win this contest. Using food as props, tell the story of how the Live@edu services represent an evolution in technology.

Concept 4: Silent Revolution
The silent film is classic. Come up with a concept surrounding Live@edu services in a silent film. But you can only use music and text to help convey your ideas.

Concept 5: What’s your Student Group?
Surely you've heard of student interest groups. Come up with an original group--like students against dining hall food--or whatever better example you can think of. Then show how Live@edu is included in what you do.

Concept 6: Shakespeare Theme
Can you take the theatre to the screen? Pick any Shakespeare scene and incorporate the Live@edu services in your reenactment. For example, how would've Romeo and Juliet played out had they used Live@edu?
